I came across this tiny house from Wind River and immediately loved it. It’s only around 600 square feet, but it doesn’t really feel like a tiny house. It’s set up with smart home tech, tons of natural light, and a mix of wood, metal, and concrete that gives the whole place a modern industrial feel without feeling cold.
When you walk in, you’re basically right in the open living room and kitchen. Upstairs is the bedroom, while the bathroom is tucked underneath the loft. There’s a huge glass garage door in the living area too, which brings in a ton of light and can open the whole place up to the outside.
The house was clearly designed for someone who actually likes being outdoors. There’s overhead storage for bikes and gear, a paddleboard mounted above the living room, and little outdoorsy details worked into the house instead of everything just being shoved into a closet somewhere.
Step outside and look closely at the carport and there’s even a pulley system for loading gear onto the roof of your car. Really awesome!
I could absolutely live somewhere this small. I’ve never really understood the need for a huge house anyway. Give me enough room for my bike, art supplies, Lego, and the things I actually care about and I’d be pretty happy.
Honestly, 600 square feet done this well sounds pretty great.
