Caribou is testing these little “coffee cabins” with drive-thru and walk-up windows instead of indoor seating.
I think they’re such a cool idea. They still look unmistakably like Caribou, but the smaller cabin design feels way more fun than a normal standalone coffee shop. The teal siding, dark trim and northwoods look actually give the building some personality.
They’ll also have a smaller menu with drinks, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods.
I’d honestly love to see more tiny branded buildings like this instead of every drive-thru looking basically the same.
